The DENT Southern Region Championship Demolition Derby took place at the beautiful Mesa Park Motorsports Arena. Mesa Park is located on Florida's East Coast, just 1.4 miles west of Interstate 95 in Fellsmere, Florida.

Heat winners received an award and qualified for the Feature. All heat winners were automatically qualified for the Year 2000 DENT National Championship Demolition Derby.
